At Edenred, we’re always working to innovate our promotions and go that extra mile to make sure your employees are saving as much as possible on the platform. Our ‘Red Flash’ sales, special events and increased discount events are designed to create a buzz and excitement from your employees, driving them to engage with the platform. Here is just a taste of what to expect:

Red Week

Red Week is our annual special event when your employees have access to time-limited increased discounts from many of our most popular retailers. In 2020 they included: National Garden, Laithwaites, JoJo Maman Bebe, Argo, Halfords, the White Company, Costa Coffee, Inspire Travel, Sainsbury’s, Clarks, Dell, Lenovo and Indesit. We also run competitions during Red Week with participating retailers.

We also run Red Events sporadically throughout the year. Once Red Week or the Red Event is over, the discount go back to their normal level.

Wellbeing Week

2021 marked our inaugural Employee Wellbeing Week, a week-long celebration of all things physical, mental and financial wellbeing. In our first edition, Employee Wellbeing Week included:

  • 1 – number of daily competitions
  • 5 – number of prizes to be won
  • 2 - number of daily live and pre-recorded events (total of 10 events)

Events sold out in less then 3 hours from us sending the email campaign and included: Yoga classes from Blessed Yoga, pilates sessions, meditation sessions, a healthy eating webinar

70%* proportion of employees who’d heard about our Employee Wellbeing Week Events from our send to all model.

Black Friday and Christmas campaigns

There are extra savings to be made during the retailers’ busiest period of the year with your ES programme..on top of the promotions they already run. Our Black Friday and Christmas campaigns focus on:

  • Discounts on discounts: use your employee savings to save more in the sales, including on big brand names
  • Increased discounts: time-limited increased promotions
  • Education: different ways to save and planning purchases ahead of Christmas to capitalize on savings

Red Flash Sales

Increased discounts aren’t limited to our big annual campaigns. We regularly negotiate time-limited increased discounts from the retailers on our platform and incorporate them in our email communications schedule. Since 01 January 2021:

  • 21 – number of increased discounts
  • 4 increased discounts a month
  • 6% - average increased discount

Monthly competitions

We also run competitions on a monthly basis outside of the competitions linked to special events like Employee Wellbeing Week or Red Week. Competitions prizes range from a free bean-to-cup coffee machine, to a Fitbit or £400 in vouchers.

  • 5 – number of competitions since 01 January 2021 (excluding Employee Wellbeing Week)
  • 1 – competition a day during Employee Wellbeing Week
  • 22,000 – number of participants in employee savings competitions in 2021 so far (excluding Employee Wellbeing Week)
